Mechanical & Performance Requirements
TS min 325 MPa; YS min 180 MPa; elongation min 35% longitudinal; C 0.06–0.18%, Mn 0.27–0.63%. Hardness max 137 HB (Rockwell B 77 equivalent).
Dimensional Tolerances
Minimum-wall basis: wall +20%/−0 above minimum; OD tolerances per A450 tight table (e.g. ±0.10 mm for OD ≤38 mm); flaring/flattening per lot.
NDE & Hydrostatic Testing
100% hydrostatic test; NDE by agreement (ultrasonic per practice E213-family); flattening and flaring tests on each lot per A450.
