Mechanical & Performance Requirements
Grade A-1: TS 415 MPa / YS 255 MPa; Grade C: TS 485 MPa / YS 275 MPa; elongation 30% (long. strip, with deductions). Chemistry Grade C: C 0.35% max (typ. 0.30+), Mn 0.29–1.06%.
Dimensional Tolerances
Minimum-wall construction (+20%/−0); OD per A450 tight exchanger tolerances; hardness limits per grade (A-1: 143 HB max; C: 179 HB max).
NDE & Hydrostatic Testing
100% hydrostatic per A450; optional NDE; flattening/flaring per lot.
