EN 10210-1/-2 cover hot-finished (hot-formed) structural hollow sections of non-alloy and fine-grain structural steels: circular, square, rectangular and elliptical hollow sections for steel construction (S235–S460, incl. H K2/M variants).
Mechanical & Performance Requirements
Yield strengths per grade and thickness: S235JRH 235 MPa (≤16 mm); S355J2H 355 MPa; S460NH 460 MPa; CVN impact 27 J at +20/−20/−40 °C per JRH/J0H/J2H designation; delivered normalized or normalized-rolled.
Dimensional Tolerances
Part 2 tolerances: OD ±1% (min ±0.5 mm); wall ±10%; squareness ≤±0.5°; straightness ≤0.20% of length (3 mm/3 m corner-limited); corner radii for square/rect per tables.
NDE & Hydrostatic Testing
Hydrostatic or electromagnetic/ultrasonic testing to prove leaktightness and seam integrity per EN 10246-family; impact and tensile per lot; CE marking under EN 1090 framework.
